Trouble creating Location At IDs - Room Calculation Point

This article referes to the Location At guide and the CCS + Location ID identification factor.

When the settings for Location At are set, and the location IDs are not created automatically, it may be because of the hosted elements Room Calculation Point.

Eg. if the Revit Family is wall faced, the Room Calculation Point may be placed in the wall, and then the location information can not be read by the host element - the room.

Example of how to change the Room Calculation Point

  1. Open the family in the Family Editor
  2. Check and if nessesary tick on the Room Calculation Point
  3. Find the point in the family
  4. And drag it into the room

Save the family and load it into the project again
